Gambling Bill Would Allow 5,000 Slots in NH
The New Hampshire Gaming Regulatory Oversight Authority has until mid-December to submit its draft legislation to the Legislature.

The New Hampshire Gaming Regulatory Oversight Authority voted Friday to allow as many as 5,000 slot machines in the state if a casino is approved, according to the Associated Press.
The panel, charged with drafting legislation governing gambling in the state, also set the casino tax rate and the number of locations. The group will next meet on Dec. 6 to review the draft legislation, which must be submitted to the Legislature by mid-December.
