SALEM, NH — Town Clerk Susan Wall has released information about Salem town office elections for 2017, as well as the list of incumbents currently serving. The filing period runs from Wednesday, Jan. 25, through Friday, Feb. 3, 2017.

Filing
The filing period runs from Wednesday, Jan. 25, through Friday, Feb. 3, 2017. Anyone interested in running for office will need to file at the Town Clerk’s Office, 33 Geremonty Drive.
Office Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Candidates must be a registered voter in Salem.
Town Meeting: First Deliberative Session will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017, at SHS.
Election: March 14, 2017. Polls open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at five polling places
Citizens petitions must be received by 5 p.m. Jan. 10, 2017. You Must have 25 signatures of registered voters.
