GOP Candidates Discuss 'Fave American Freedom Founder'
Rockingham County Republican Committee gathers candidates for governor, Senate, and Congress at April 14 dinner, fundraiser.

ATKINSON, NH - The Rockingham County Republican Committee will host its Annual Freedom Founders Dinner on starting at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 14, 2016, at the Atkinson Resort and Country Club, 85 Country Club Drive in Atkinson.
This annual event, according to the org, commemorates "distinguished American patriots who founded our country and kept that ideal alive through their sacrifice and commitment," according to a press statement. In keeping with the tradition, the potential 2016 Republican candidates are being asked to choose a particular American patriot that they admire and respect and dedicate their speaking time as a tribute to that patriot.
“We are pleased to host New Hampshire candidates for U.S. Senate, U.S. Congress and the Governor’s Office and learn about their favorite American Freedom Founder,” said Brian Murphy, Rockingham County Republican Committee Chairman. “In such an important election year, we look forward to learning more about these candidates beyond their typical stump speech."

Last year, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker was the keynote speaker for the event, which sold out. The committee anticipates that this year’s dinner will also reach capacity.
The cost of the dinner is $75 per person, and sponsorship opportunities are available. Reservations are required and can be made online by going to the website at rockinghamgop.org.
