The Salem GOP will host major candidates at its annual Labor Day Picnic
Salem – Local Republicans and Independents are invited to attend the Salem Republican Town Committee’s annual Labor Day Picnic on Monday, September 1, 2014 from 3:00 – 5:00 pm at the Derry-Salem Elks Lodge, 39 Shadow Lake Road, Salem.
The event is free to Salem residents and will include hamburgers and hot dogs, corn on the cob and watermelon along with cold drinks.
The following candidates have confirmed their attendance: Governor: Walt Havenstein and Andrew Hemingway
US Senate: Scott Brown and Jim Rubens
Congress: Marilinda Garcia, Gary Lambert, and Jim Lawrence

Senator Chuck Morse and Executive Councilor Chris Sununu will be on hand, along with candidates for State Representative and County offices.
This relaxed family event is a chance for voters to chat with all the candidates prior to the September 9th primary election.
