Homeland Security, NHSP Reportedly Raiding Massage Parlors

Breaking: Reports are stating that U.S. Homeland Security, other law enforcement agents are in Exeter, Londonderry, Plaistow, and Salem.

SALEM, NH — News organizations are reporting that Homeland Security Investigations agents and New Hampshire State Police are in at least four southern New Hampshire communities this afternoon initiating law enforcement activities. Agents are initiating actions in Exeter, Londonderry, Plaistow, and Salem, according to reports. There is no threat to the public at this time, according to WMUR-TV and the New Hampshire Union Leader.

Seacoastonline.com is reporting that there is a large police presence on Portsmouth Avenue in Exeter.

According to Rockingham County Alerts, the raids reportedly involve "massage parlor facilities that are advertised regularly on Backpage and Craigslist," as part of a human trafficking task force.

"Typically federal agencies that do these investigations will not release information for several days but we will update as we receive additional information," the post stated.
