It’s Super Bowl Weekend in NH

There's a ton of things to do around the Granite State this weekend.

SATURDAY

  • Farmers’ Markets. Looking for some fresh food, made in New Hampshire? There are farmers’ markets on Saturday in Concord and Greenland, and Saturday and Sunday in Tilton
  • Take Your Child to the Library. Children 12 and under are invited to Take Your Child to the Library Day in Merrimack beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday. At 9:30 a.m., the library hosts its paws to read event
  • Blind Date with a Book. The Nesmith Library in Windham invites you to swing by at 9 a.m. on Saturday, grab a title that is wrapped, and give the book a try. There are raffle prizes too. 
  • Is it Time to Buy a Home? Re/Max Connection in Concord will be hosting a free seminar for homebuyers at 9 a.m. on Saturday. 
  • Museums on Them. If you’re a customer of Bank of America or Merrill Lynch, you can get into the Currier Museum of Art in Manchester this weekend free of charge.  
  • Winter Psychic Fair. The Hampton Inn in Nashua is the place to beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday to meet an array of psychic mediums, craftsmen, and others. 
  • Wrestling Tournament. The annual Winnacunnet High School wrestling tournament will be held at the school beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday. 
  • Taoist Tai Chi Open House. Celebrate the Chinese New Year with an open house at the Tuck Learning campus in Exeter at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
  • Reiki Class. Learn how to self health yourself with this class at The Victoria Inn in Hampton at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. 
  • Meet Ben Bradlee Jr. The New England journalist and author of “The Kid: The Immortal Life of Ted Williams,” will be at Gibson’s Bookstore in Concord at 11 a.m. on Saturday to talk about his book and sign them too.
  • Balancing Your Hormones. The Nashua Public Library hosts at talk at 12:30 p.m. Saturday for those who might be feeling hormonal and need tips on how to balance everything out. The event is free but pre-registration is requested.
  • Mulan Jr. The musical will be presented at Bedford High School at 1 and 7 p.m. on Saturday. Tickets are $7; $5 for students.  
  • Kidgits Pre-Game Party. Visit the Sears Center Court at The Mall at Fox Run at 1 p.m. on Saturday for free family fun.  
  • Jump On In Open Gym. Open gym sessions at the facility in Portsmouth will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, and 11 a.m. on Sunday
  • Wine and Cheese Social. WineNot Boutique in Nashua is hosting a free tasting and social from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
  • Clydesdale Camera Day. Stop by the in Anheuser-Busch Merrimack brewery at 1 p.m. and have your picture take with a Budweiser Clydesdale.
  • Family Clay Workshop. Studio 550 Art Center in Manchester hosts this event at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday for parents and kids to make Valentine’s vases. The cots is $30 for a parent and child; $40 for a parent and two children. 
  • Paint and Fight Cancer. The Canvas Roadshow in Bedford hosts a paint and sip fundraiser for the American Cancer Society at 2 p.m. on Saturday. At 6:30 p.m., learn to paint “Signs” in another class on Saturday.
  • Groovin’ on the Go. The Amato Center for the Performing Arts in Milford hosts this all dance production at 2 and 7 p.m. on Saturday, and 2 p.m. on Sunday.
  • Find Peace. 8 Limbs Holistic Health hosts a mindfulness and meditation workshop at 3 p.m. on Saturday. The cost is $40.
  • Alternative Fashion Show. An “eco” fashion show will be held in the dining hall of SNHU in Manchester at 4 p.m. on Saturday. 
  • Fiscal Shades of Grey. The Capitol Steps perform its new show at The Music Hall in Portsmouth at 5 and 8 p.m. on Saturday. Tickets are $35-$45.
  • Groundhog Day Ukulele. Ukulele performers will be performing and jamming at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday in Portsmouth. 
  • Temptress. The Players’ Ring Theater in Portsmouth presents this play at 8 p.m. on Saturday, and 2 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $15; $12 for students, seniors, and members.
  • Melissa Ferrick. The singer-songwriter performs at the Tupelo Music Hall in Londonderry at 8 p.m. on Saturday. Tickets are $25.
  • Rendezous. Need one? Head over to the Country Tavern in Nashua at 8 p.m. on Saturday to rock out with this band.
  • Monkeys With Hammers. The band plays Murphy’s Taproom in Manchester at 9:30 p.m. on Saturday. 
  • Chad LaMarsh Band. The band plays Whippersnappers Restaurant in Londonderry at 9:30 p.m. There’s no cover before 8:30 p.m.

  • Winter Feast for the Soul. Gateway Taiji, Qigong & Yoga in Portsmouth hosts a meditation event at 6:30 a.m. on Sunday.
  • Antiques. The Milford Antiques Show will be held from 8:30 to 11 a.m. on Sunday at the Hampshire Hills Sports and Fitness Club.
  • Marriage Class. What makes a marriage work? Find out at 10:15 a.m. on Sunday at the Merrimack Valley Baptist Church in Merrimack. The talk is free.
  • Marjorie Thompson. The singer-songwriter offers a free performance at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday at the Bedford Public Library.
