Jim Reams: I Was Asked to Resign

Rockingham County Attorney Jim Reams, who was suspended earlier this month, said he's been asked to resign.

Both Reams and Deputy County Attorney Tom Reid were placed on leave pending an investigation. New Hampshire Attorney General Joseph Foster hasn't revealed the nature of the probe. A Portsmouth lawmaker previously told Patch Reams fostered a "hostile work environment" for women.

Reams told the Union Leader the AG's office asked him to resign.
