Jindal Drops Out of Presidential Race

Republican governor says it's not his time.

Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal is dropping out of the Republican presidential primary race, he announced Tuesday evening.

“I’ve come to the realization that it is not my time,” he said in a Fox News interview. “I am suspending my campaign for president of the United States.”

In a national Fox News poll released at the beginning of November, Jindal was polling at less than one percent among likely Republican primary voters.

He never appeared on the main GOP debate stage, either, instead being relegated to the “undercard.”
