The Field of Dreams is located on Geremonty Drive across the street from the Salem District Court. The field includes a playground, fitness trails, a volleyball court and an amphitheater that hosts a weekly summer concert series.
According to their website, the Field of Dreams "is a single individual’s dream brought to fruition when members of the community raised funds to build a park on 7.5 acres of land deeded to the Town of Salem." That single individual was Robert Leathers, who took input from local children when designing the space.
The Field of Dreams is open from dawn to dusk from April 15 to November 15.
