Kuster Honors Vietnam Veterans during Welcome Home Event
Officials thank veterans from the era who live in New Hampshire for serving their country.

Yesterday afternoon, U.S. Rep. Ann McLane Kuster, D-NH, honored Vietnam Veterans during a Welcome Home event at Pease Air National Guard Base in Newington, according to a press statement.
The event participants came together today to thank veterans of the Vietnam War from around New Hampshire for their courageous service to our country. Kuster was joined at the ceremony by Gov. Maggie Hassan, D-Exeter, U.S. Sens. Jeanne Shaheen, D-NH, and Kelly Ayotte, R-NH, and U.S. Frank Guinta, R-NH.
“The veterans who served in the Vietnam War made grave sacrifices and fought courageously to protect our country,” said Kuster. “It is my distinct privilege to help honor these brave Granite Staters for their service in the face of adversity both abroad and at home. We must always remember everything these service members did to preserve our national security and way of life.”
