Kuster Hosts Innovation Roundtable
Helping small businesses grow and succeed in the Granite State is one of her biggest priorities, she said.

On March 30, U.S. Rep. Ann McLane Kuster, D-NH, convened a group of local small business owners, students, and professors at the Dartmouth Regional Technical Center for a roundtable discussion on how Congress can best support innovation and job creation in New Hampshire, according to a press statement.
Helping small businesses grow and succeed in the Granite State is one of Kuster’s biggest priorities, and at this meeting she heard directly from New Hampshire entrepreneurs and experts about ways to support them on the federal level.
“Supporting job creation and economic growth in the Granite State is one of my top priorities in Congress, and the best way to do that is by helping create an environment that allows our small businesses to thrive,” said Kuster. “I was so grateful for the opportunity to hear from business leaders, students, and experts about how Congress can help bolster the success of small businesses here in New Hampshire. I sincerely thank today’s participants for sharing their thoughts and ideas with me today, and I look forward to continuing to fight for them back in Washington.”

Kuster was joined by faculty and students from the Dartmouth Entrepreneurial Network, as well as local business leaders and entrepreneurs from throughout the Upper Valley. The discussion focused on New Hampshire’s startup culture and ways in which Congress can best support innovation and economic growth. Kuster also highlighted her work to support New Hampshire small businesses at the federal level.
Since first taking office, Kuster has prioritized efforts to foster job creation, grow the economy, and improve workforce development. Last year, she unveiled a Middle Class Jobs and Opportunity Agenda, a blueprint based on meetings with Granite State residents, families, business owners, and others, that outlines common sense, bipartisan steps to help create jobs in New Hampshire and around the country. Kuster routinely visits small businesses and economic development projects across the state through her Congress-At-Your-Company series to hear how she can help support their success, and she will continue to prioritize small business development in Congress.
