Lawrence Man Faces Stalking, Contempt, DUI Charges In Salem: Cop Log

Teens face unlawful possession-intoxication charges after vehicle stop; man accused of "throwing items, getting violent" on Bridge Street.

SALEM, NH — Howard L. Suarez, 37, of Wyman Street in Lawrence, Massachusetts, was arrested at 8:47 p.m. on Aug. 5, 2024, on driving under the influence, stalking-domestic violence, contempt, and resisting arrest or detention charges. He was arrested after a motor vehicle stop on South Broadway Street.

A 17-year-old and three 16-year-olds were arrested at 12:46 a.m. on Aug. 4 after a traffic stop at the U.S. Post Office at South Broadway Street. One 16-year-old was charged with unlawful possession-intoxication and an open container violation, while the others were charged with unlawful possession-intoxication.

Michael Allen Lewis, 46, of Nonantum Street in Brighton, MA, was arrested at 8:37 a.m. on Aug. 3 on falsifying physical evidence and two possession of a controlled drug charges, all felonies. Police were sent to Main Street after a caller reported a man “standing outside of a vehicle with no shirt and straw in hand acting strung out.” When the first officer arrived, they accused the man of “swallowing something,” and he was arrested. Salem fire and rescue teams were requested to check out the man and he was taken to Parkland Medical Center. Lewis was released on personal recognizance later.

James F. Majkut, 58, of West Hollis Street in Nashua was arrested on a warrant from Hudson police at 10:32 p.m. on July 5 after a suspicious vehicle report at the Walmart parking lot on North Broadway Street.

Andre E. Boyce, 53, of Summer Street in Lowell, MA, was arrested at 1:17 p.m. on July 5 on felony possession of a controlled drug and driving after revocation or suspension after a motor vehicle stop at the Red Roof Inn on Red Roof Lane. He was released on personal recognizance.

Tamara Petronio, 53, of Lancelot Court in Salem, was arrested on a bench warrant at 7:55 a.m. on July 5 and charged with stalking after an incident at Market Basket at South Broadway Street. She refused bail and was taken to the county jail.

Michelly Alesandr Zavala Escobar, 25, of Winthrop Avenue in Revere, MA, was arrested at 11:22 p.m. on July 4 on criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest or detention charges. Police were sent to Blake Road after a “hysterical female hung up on 911 after reporting a fight,” police said. When dispatch called her back, they reported a car horn blaring “and all she kept saying was that she was hitting everyone,” a report said. The woman was accused of attacking two people. One person left then and Salem fire and rescue teams were sent for a report of a woman down on the driveway. Police accused her of breaking a camera in one of the police cruisers. Escobar was released on personal recognizance to a sober party, police said.

Isis A. Green, 23, of Ash Street in Manchester received a summons at 10:59 p.m. on July 4 on a driving after revocation or suspension charge and a suspension of vehicle registration violation after a motor vehicle stop on Lake Street.

David A. Childs, 48, of Bridge Street in Salem was arrested at 6:22 p.m. on July 4 on domestic violence-simple assault, simple assault, criminal mischief, and resisting arrest or detention. Police were sent to the home for a report of a man “throwing items and getting violent” and then fled “into the woods,” a report stated. The caller accused the man of drinking, being intoxicated, and mixing the alcohol with meds, police said. The man was arrested, was accused of being uncooperative, a spit mask was placed on him, and he was taken to the Rockingham County Jail.

Odalys Torres-Goycochea, 41, of High Street in Lawrence, MA, was arrested at 10:58 a.m. on July 4 on a willful concealment charge after a shoplifting incident at Walmart on North Broadway Street.

Adan Lopez Ramero, 52, of Broomfield Street in Lawrence, MA, received a summons at 9:57 a.m. on July 4 on an operating without a valid license charge after a motor vehicle stop on Pleasant Street.
