It is with a great deal of pleasure that I write to support Shannon Bettencourt for Salem Budget Committee. I have known Shannon for many years, and in that time I have come to know her as an independent, strong, and compassionate woman.
Everything I know about Shannon tells me that she will bring an open mind and common sense to the Budget Committee. She will treat every citizen with respect and will carefully weigh Salem’s needs versus their costs. She understands the struggle of the taxpayer while also appreciating that our needs and obligations must be met.
As the mother of a young child, I know Shannon cares very much about the future health of Salem and will always do what she believes is best for our town.
It is for these reasons that I am proud to support Shannon Bettencourt for Budget Committee and hope others will consider voting for her on March 11.
