I recently met Janet at a campaign event, hosted by mutual friends, and I was immediately impressed by her knowledge of issues effecting Salem and how this impacts growth in Salem, particularly businesses. She has earned endorsements from former House Speaker Donna Sytek, State Senator and former Senate President, Chuck Morse, along with State Representatives Betty Gay, Arthur Barnes and Everett McBride.

Throughout the pandemic, small businesses from Salem to the Seacoast, have been struggling to keep their doors open. Janet realized this and stepped up to help business throughout the District with locating COVID relief funding sources, at the both the state and federal level, and assisted with filings.

When she learned that minority owned businesses and women owned businesses were struggling to gain access to the Main Street Fund due to language barriers, she went to work. With a dearth of interpreter services available, she called the Governor’s office to inform them. By the end of the day the Governor had formed an Ad. Hoc committee to look at issues our minority communities are facing due to COVID.

Janet has the experience needed to serve on New Hampshire’s Executive Council. She is a small business owner, nonprofit advocate and municipal government leader who will work tirelessly for Salem and the entire district.
