Livingston: Grosky Deserves Our Votes

Letter writer says his work studying and defeating a proposal to have Sandown leave the Timberlane Regional School District was vital.

SANDOWN, NH — Jason Grosky deserves your vote for Rockingham County Attorney.

I met Jason two years ago when the town of Sandown voted to study the feasibility and suitability of withdrawing from the Timberlane Regional School District. Jason served on the study committee, heard both sides and raised critical questions throughout the process.

The committee ultimately decided that Sandown leaving Timberlane was not feasible or suitable.

The issue still went on Sandown’s ballot. And even though Jason serves as an Atkinson selectman, he joined Sandown’s grassroots group that rallied against leaving Timberlane – dubbed Citizens Against Withdrawing – and helped us fight to keep Sandown in the district.

Jason logged many hours for Sandown, be it holding signs at our town transfer station, standing at the polls on voting day, advocating on social media and speaking to residents from all four district towns. His advice and leadership helped our community rally and defeat a withdrawal warrant article by 80 percent of the vote.

Jason serves our communities in many ways, be it through his job as a local prosecutor, position as a selectman, contributions to Timberlane, serving on the local YMCA and youth football boards amidst others.

Jason is a true leader and an invaluable asset to our community. Please join me in voting for a dedicated public servant, Jason Grosky for County Attorney.
