Why are you seeking elective office?

I believe my 20 years of experience in design and space planning is a good fit for this position. As our town is running out of usable building space, planning is key.

The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.

With all the use changes at Tuscan Village, I believe more open communication to the people in town would help alleviate a lot of the fear.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

My business is space planning so I'm a naturally good fit for this position.

If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)

Changing use on the Tuscan Village project has added much fear in our town. More open communication and discussion should be added. Although opportunity is available to speak at each meeting, more information would have been helpful.

Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform.

I don't have any big issues just seeking to add my expertise and give back to my community.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

I spend my day assisting my clients in planning kitchens, baths and additions. I am well equipped to see the full vision of a project and give solid knowledge and planning.

The best advice ever shared with me was:

Measure twice and cut once.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

I am seeking a seat at the planning table to assist in the future vision of Salem.
