Mall at Rockingham Park Awards Scholarships

Three students received $1,400 scholarships on Tuesday.

Three students local to New Hampshire were awarded Community Scholarships of $1,400 each on June 28 at the Mall at Rockingham Park.

The Simon Youth Scholarships program, sponsored by Simon Youth Foundation, a national nonprofit that champions education opportunities for students of all backgrounds, granted these scholarship awards to benefit the post-secondary education of three local students. The awards were given in partnership with Mall at Rockingham Park, Pheasant Lane Mall and Mall of New Hampshire.

"The administration and staff at Mall at Rockingham Park, Pheasant Lane Mall and Mall of New Hampshire are proud to participate in the scholarships program with Simon Youth Foundation, because it has given us the opportunity to support the academic endeavors of promising youth right here in our community," said Emily Hoang, Director of Mall Marketing & Business Development.

The scholarship award winners are listed below.

  • Erica Prince, a graduate of Alvirne High School, plans to major in Nursing at University of New Hampshire.
  • Marissa Fifield, a graduate of Goffstown High School, plans to major in Accounting at University of New Hampshire.
  • William Zannoni, a graduate of Lowell, Mass. High School, plans to major in Engineering at University of Massachusetts Amherst.
