Man Charged After Road Rage Incident, Fight
A Massachusetts woman was also arrested for shoplifting.

The following arrest information was supplied by the Salem Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Thursday, Oct. 17
- 12:47 p.m.: Police received a report of an accident on Main Street.
- 3:44 p.m.: Elsa Salazar, 42, of 108 E. Pleasant St., Lawrence, MA was charged with willful concealment; theft and criminal trespass after an alleged shoplifting incident at Target on South Broadway. She was released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail.
- 4:59 p.m.: Police received a report of wires down on Glen Road.
- 5:04 p.m.: Robert William Hammond Jr., 42, of 23 Hampshire St., Apt. #15, Salem was charged with second degree assault; strangulation, simple assault and criminal mischief following a reported road rage incident and a fight in the parking lot of Wendy's on North Broadway.
- 5:38 p.m.: Police received a report of a hit-and-run accident on North Broadway.
- 5:41 p.m.: Police received a report of an accident on Interstate 93 at Exit 2.
- 6:53 p.m.: Police received a report of an accident on North Broadway.
