Man Demanding to Speak in Church Leads to Arrest: Log

Salem Police: Boston teen busted for shoplifting and Salem man allegedly threatens to kill family.

Watson Gribbin Jr., 62, of Carriage Lane in Salem, was arrested at 4:29 p.m. on Dec. 26, 2015, for disorderly conduct and protective custody. Police were sent to St. Joseph’s Church on Main Street for a report of a man demanding to speak inside the church. “He is standing up and refusing to sit,” the caller alleged. “People are very nervous.” Gribbin was taken in to custody.

Taylor M. LeFebvre, 18, of Hemenway Street in Boston, was arrested at 3:28 p.m. on Dec. 27, 2015, for willful concealment after an incident at JC Penny on Rockingham Park Boulevard. LeFebvre was arrested and released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail.

Jason R. Gerry, 21, of North Broadway in Salem, was arrested at 8:37 p.m. on Dec. 27, 2015, for four counts of domestic violence-criminal threatening, criminal mischief, resisting arrest or detention, and endangering the welfare of a child. Police were sent to North Broadway for a report of a man who was allegedly intoxicated and “threatening to kill the entire family,” according to a report. The man later fled the area and was caught running on Route 28, according to police.

Gary M. Debreceni, 32, of Newhall Street in Lowell, MA, was arrested at 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 28, 2015, for robbery. He was arrested at headquarters on a warrant.

Benjamin M. Haskins, 42, of First Street in Medford, MA, was arrested at 5:26 p.m. on Dec. 28, 2015, on a warrant. Police were sent to a crash at Route 11 and Ermer Road for an accident between two vehicle. One driver, in a BMW, was taken to Parkland Medical by Salem Fire and Rescue teams, as a precaution. The other operator was arrested on a warrant out of Somersworth Police.

Michael W. Juozokas, 28, of Hunter Drive in Derry, was arrested at 10:25 p.m. on Dec. 28, 2015, for possession of a controlled drug (heroin/crack, less than 1 gram). Officers were sent to the Circle K on North Broadway for a report of a man who had been in bathroom “for a while,” according to police. Juozokas was arrested, refused bail, and sent to jail.
