Lawrence Man Arrested In Salem On Fentanyl, Cocaine Sale Charges After Traffic Stop

SALEM, NH — A pair from Lawrence, Massachusetts, were arrested on charges on Tuesday after a traffic stop in town.

Salem police stopped a vehicle in town on a warrant connected to “an ongoing narcotics investigation” by detectives during the past “several months,” police said in Facebook. Police accused Joshua Hilton, 30, of Lawrence, MA, of selling fentanyl and cocaine in town on four occasions. He faces four counts of sale of fentanyl and four counts of sale of cocaine, all felonies.

Both Hilton and Anchy Palen, 30, also Lawrence, MA, were also accused of child endangerment.

“On one of those occasions,” police said, “it is alleged that Palen and a child were present and inside of the vehicle that Hilton sold drugs from.”

Hilton was held without bail and arraigned on Wednesday. Palen was released on personal recognizance with a future date scheduled in Salem District Court.
