Mass. Woman Arrested For Aggravated DUI After Crash
Valerie Bourassa of Dracut, MA, was arrested after a crash tonight on Bridge Street in Pelham. She was allegedly driving without a license.

PELHAM, NH — A Bay State woman was arrested on drunk driving charges after a crash on Bridge Street in Pelham tonight, according to police. Valerie Bourassa, 30, of Dracut, MA, was arrested on Jan. 3, 2018, on two counts of driving under the influence, aggravated driving while intoxicated, and driving after suspension. Police were sent to a report of a crash at just before 6 p.m., according to Sgt. Brian Barbato of the Pelham Police Department.

Bourassa was driving a Ford Fusion north when she allegedly rear-ended a Honda Accord being driven by a 50-year-old Lowell, MA, man, according to police.

“No one was injured in the accident,” Barbato stated in a press release. “Further investigation revealed that alcohol impairment was a factor in the collision.”
Bourassa was arrested and released. She’s due in Salem District Court on Jan. 22.
