Massage Appointment Leads To Robbery Attempt, Drug Bust: Salem Police Log
Plus, pair from the Bronx arrested outside Circle K, Hampstead man arrested for DUI again, and local man charged with assault.

SALEM, NH — Youssouf Diawara, 32, of Clay Avenue in in the Bronx, NY, was arrested at 1:47 a.m. on Aug. 29, 2017, for driving after revocation or suspension. Also arrested was Moussa Traore, 27, of Tinton Avenue in the Bronx, NY, for falsifying physical evidence. They were arrested after a Circle K employee on North Broadway flagged down an officer and reported suspicious activity.
Brandon C. Rosa, 31, of Palmer Street in Salem, was arrested at 12:57 a.m. on Aug. 29, 2017, on a warrant. He was arrested at Walmart on North Broadway.

Lydia Fontanez, 22, of Park Street in Lawrence, MA, was arrested at 3:42 p.m. on Aug. 29, 2017, for theft by deception – $1,501+ and receiving stolen property – $1,501+. Jamie J. Gitschier, 43, of Mammoth Road in Dracut, MA, was arrested at 7:44 p.m. on Aug. 28, 2017, for criminal threatening. Gitschier was arrested at police headquarters.
Gregory Langlais, 20, of Noyes Lane in Merrimac, MA, was arrested at 9:32 p.m. on July 30, 2017, for possession of a controlled drug-marijuana and unlawful possession/intoxication at Field of Dreams on Geremonty Drive.
Andrew J. Roy, 23, of Cote Road in Salem, was arrested at 5:53 p.m. on July 30, 2017, for criminal threatening after police were sent to the home for a report of an out-of-control person.
Matthew P. Moeckel, 33, of Sunset Avenue in Lunenburg, MA, was arrested at 4:30 p.m. on July 30, 2017, for domestic violence-simple assault. He was arrested at Canobie Lake Park on North Policy Street.
Hector L. Mena, 22, of Howard Street in Lawrence, MA, was arrested at 5:32 p.m. on July 29, 2017, for possession of a controlled drug-marijuana. Also arrested was Yisak Pereyra, 21, of Boston Street in Methuen, MA, for transporting drugs in a motor vehicle. They were charged outside of Smoke Choice on South Broadway and later, released on summonses.
Christopher D. Demaine, 41, of Maple Street in Hampstead, was arrested at 4:04 p.m. on July 29, 2017, for aggravated DUI – 0.16+, DUI, and DUI-second or third. He was arrested after police were sent to the New Hampshire State Liquor and Wine Outlet for a report of an intoxicated person who was attempting to buy liquor but after being denied, left the area. Demaine was held on $1,000 cash bail.
Ryan A. Alicea, 31, of Pumping Station Road in Salem, was arrested at 1:52 a.m. on July 29, 2017, for domestic violence-simple assault and simple assault. Police were sent to Rosewood Avenue for a report of a man who was assaulted.
Daryn J. Dunnell, 48, of Pond Street in Salem, was arrested at 7:45 p.m. on July 28, 2017, for possession of a controlled drug-marijuana.
Gregory J. Bailey, 31, of Montclair Road in Haverhill, MA, was arrested at 5:39 p.m. on July 28, 2017, for willful concealment. He was arrested on a warrant.
Chad A. Hickman, 39, of Townsend Avenue in Salem, was arrested at 5:02 p.m. on July 28, 2017, for second-degree assault-domestic violence, two counts of domestic violence-simple assault, and domestic violence-obstructing report of a crime/injury. He was arrested on a warrant.
Cynthia D. Remillard, 52, of Lancelot Court in Salem, was arrested at 5:05 p.m. on July 28, 2017, on three counts of possession of a controlled drug-heroin/crack and falsifying physical evidence. Also arrested was Ty H. Morin, 32, of Harbor Street in Salem, MA, for possession of a controlled drug-marijuana and Tyrone A. Valentin, 24, of Lancelot Court in Salem, on two counts of possession of a controlled drug-heroin/crack. Police were sent to the home after receiving a report that a man went to get a “non-licensed massage” and when he got there, two African-American men tried to rob him. “They pushed him against the wall and shoved a gun in his face,” according to the report. An apartment manager buzzed officers in and detectives also later showed up to investigate. Remillard was held on $2,500 cash bail. Valentin was also held, according to the report.
