Why are you seeking elective office?

To provide a fair voice for Salem’s residents

The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.

Property taxes. Investigate all avenues of revenue generation

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

I am open , fair minded, and slow to judge. I consistently show up early, ready to do the job.

If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)

They do not always show up and almost always vote in the negative. Salem deserves better than this.

Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform

Education funding and equitable education opportunities, especially for the special needs community. Reversing voter suppression efforts. Vote by mail for New Hampshire. Pandemic safety nets for Granite Staters.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

Teaching the middle school and high school populations presents challenges that I have enjoyed meeting. They have taught me flexibility and to be slow to judge a situation. They have also taught me empathy.

The best advice ever shared with me was …

The best advice I received was to use my enthusiasm for history by way of stories that bring the past to life.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

Politically I identify as moderate, more conservative on economic issues and definitely more liberal on social issues. People and their well-being matter to me
