May Showers Could be Heading to Salem

The weekend could be a mix of showers and sun for New Hampshire, according to weather forecasters.

The Granite State has had a very nice spring, so far, but the dry spell has really hammered open spaces and brush with flames and debris, and red flag warnings for a good part of the month. So the rain that might hit New Hampshire this weekend should be a welcome relief.

AccuWeather.com forecasters are predicting showers on Friday and Saturday, with potentially severe thunderstorms hitting New England. But it won’t be a total washout. The sun is expected to return on Sunday.

Here’s the weekend forecast, according to the National Weather Service.
