Methuen Man Charged with Pot Possession

Salem Police arrested a man Friday who was in possession of four bags of marijuana at the Salem Housing Authority.
Police responded to 44 Millville St., the Salem Housing Authority, on Friday at approximately 4 p.m. for a report of an unwanted male subject who'd been asked to leave the property.
Officers made contact with the male–Robert Sleeper, 23, of Methuen, Mass.–and while removing him determined he had an active bench warrant out of New Hampshire.

Also, police discovered four bags of marijuana, a scale and other paraphernalia in his pockets at the time of his arrest.
In addition to the bench warrant, Sleeper was charged with marijuana possession and possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute. Police sald Sleeper refused bail and was held at Rockingham County jail.
