Mother, Daughter Caught Stealing from JC Penney

Several accidents were also reported in Salem.

Saturday, Oct. 26

  • 2:37 a.m.: An employee at CVS on South Broadway reported the theft of multiple items from the store. A male suspect left in a red vehicle.
  • 12:43 p.m.: Police received a report of a theft from the Samsung Experience kiosk at Best Buy on South Broadway.
  • 3:46 p.m.: Police responded to a backyard fence fire on Old Rockingham Road that was spreading to a neighbor's yard.
  • 4:01 p.m.: Carlos A. Espinal-Cabral, 24, of 27 Maverick St., East Boston, MA was charged with willful concealment. He was released on $620 bail.
  • 4:01 p.m.: An employee at Work N' Gear on South Broadway reported that two men stole several pairs of boots and left in a red pickup truck.
  • 4:08 p.m.: A caller on Mall Road reported that a male subject in another vehicle threw an iced coffee at her on the highway. The vehicle got off at Exit 1 and took the ramp over to the mall.
  • 4:17 p.m.: Geetaben Jitendrakumar Patel, 36, of 864 Broadway, Apt. #2 FL, Haverhill, MA was charged with willful concealment; theft and endangering the welfare of a child following an alleged shoplifting incident at JC Penney on Rockingham Park Boulevard. Her juvenile daughter was also taken into custody. Patel was released on $620 bail.
  • 5:55 p.m.: Police received a report of an accident on South Broadway.
  • 11:15 p.m.: Police received a report of an accident on North Policy Street.
Sunday, Oct. 27
  • 1:50 a.m.: Soo Kyong Pyles, 40, of 50 Telfer Circle, Apt. #4, Salem was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest/detention. She was released on a summons.
  • 7:26 a.m.: Cody Michael Green, 20, of 71 Souhegan St., Apt. #1, Milford was charged with driving under the influence and unlawful possession/intoxication after the vehicle he was driving hit the guard rail on Island Pond Road. He was released on a hand summons.
  • 8:18 a.m.: William N. Grealish, 34, of 53 Partridge Lane, Auburn, ME was arrested on a warrant out of Sandown. The charge was not specified.
