New Pro-Liberty PAC Endorses Hemingway, Garcia

Stark360 says the candidates' youth, experience, and principles are best for New Hampshire.

A new pro-liberty political action committee that is using extensive data research to reach out to voters and get them to the polls has endorsed two Republicans for the Sept. 9, primary.

Stark360 PAC on Aug. 18, endorsed both Andrew Hemingway in his run for the Republican nomination for governor and state Rep. Marilinda Garcia, R-Salem, in the 2nd Congressional District race.

“Both Andrew Hemingway and Marilinda Garcia bring an amazing combination of youth and experience rooted in the ‘Live free or die’ principles of limited government and liberty,” said Stark360 chairman Aaron Day. “We need leaders, not administrators, bold solutions, not stale political rhetoric and the status quo. Hemingway and Garcia provide a stark contrast to both their primary and general election competitors.”

Garcia has been seen by many to be a rising star in the party and “has worked tirelessly in the New Hampshire state legislature since 2012 to make New Hampshire a more prosperous and economically free state,” according to the organization.

Hemingway is currently competing with Walt Havenstein, Daniel Green, and Jonathan Smolin for the Republican nomination for governor. Gov. Maggie Hassan, D-Exeter, the incumbent, and presumed nominee, is being challenged by Ian Freeman and Clecia Terrio.

Garcia is competing with Gary Lambert, Jim Lawrence, and Mike Little for the GOP nomination. The winner will challenge U.S. Rep. Ann McLane Kuster, D-NH, in the general election.
