No Overnight Parking in Salem: Police

The town's winter parking ban is now in place. Here are the details from the Salem Police Department.

SALEM, NH — Overnight parking in the town of Salem is no longer allowed as of today, Nov. 15, 2016, according to the Salem Police Department. Between midnight and 6 a.m. each day through April 15, 2017, no vehicles are allowed to be left on a public way, according to Capt. Joel Dolan of the Salem Police Department.

On-street parking is also prohibited at any time during a declared snow emergency, he noted, with emergencies being defined as storms with three inches or more of snow accumulation.

“The Salem Police Department, in conjunction with the Department of Public Works, asks residents to follow these parking restrictions during this upcoming winter season,” Dolan requested.
