Numerous Teens Arrested for Shoplifting: Log

Salem Police: Mass. man arrested on a warrant after hotel employee smells pot smoke while another is arrested after three-vehicle crash.

Darrin K. Kendrick, 30, of Rainbow Terrace in Salem, MA, was arrested at 9:58 a.m. on Dec. 22, 2015, on a bench warrant for nonpayment of attorney fees. Police were sent to the Holiday Inn on Keewaydin Drive for a report of marijuana coming from one of the rooms that had a “do not disturb” sign on the door. The employee tried to slip a bill under the door but there was a towel blocking it. An officer was sent to the hotel and met with the man who rented the room, found he had an active warrant, and arrested him, according to police.

A 15-year-old juvenile was arrested at 4:02 p.m. on Dec. 22, 2015, for willful concealment after allegedly getting caught shoplifting at Bob’s Store on Cluff Crossing Road.

Two juveniles, 16 and 15, were arrested for willful concealment at 1:55 p.m. on Dec. 23, 2015, at the Lord & Taylor on Rockingham Park Boulevard.

Melissa A. MacLeod, 45, of Braemoor Woods Road in Salem, was arrested at 3:13 p.m. on Dec. 23, 2015, for willful concealment after an incident at Macy’s at the Mall at Rockingham Park.

Yuri E. Hung, 28, of Haverhill Street in Lawrence, MA, was arrested at 5:49 p.m. on Dec. 23, 2015, for operating without a valid license and following too closely after a three-vehicle accident on South Broadway. There were no injuries during the crash.

Janice L. Lamattina, 45, of Ash Street in Nashua, was arrested at 9:38 p.m. on Dec. 23, 2015, for simple assault and willful concealment at the Lord & Taylor on Rockingham Park Boulevard. She was released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail.

Tracy L. Laudenslager, 42, of Porter Street in Haverhill, MA, was arrested at 12:27 a.m. on Dec. 24, 2015, on a bench warrant. Police were asked to come to South Broadway near CVS for a suspicious vehicle. A check of the vehicle yielded a bench warrant out of Salem District Court and Laudenslager was arrested and bailed out on $1,000 cash bail.
