One Dies After Tire Explodes at Sears

A tire explosion at the Sears Service Center at the Mall at Rockingham Park has taken the life of one person, according to online alerts.

Salem Fire and Rescue teams were called to the business at around 9:50 a.m. on Dec. 19, 2015, for a report of an explosion and two patients with “serious traumatic injuries.”

At just after 10 a.m., fire alerts began reporting that one of the patients had died.

Specifics about the incident are unavailable at post time.
