Pair Wanted After Drive-By Shooting In Methuen Bagged In NH

Breaking: Aisha Herrera and Moise Rodriguez of Manchester were arrested after an alleged incident this morning outside of a hookah bar.

MANCHESTER, NH — Two from New Hampshire were arrested this morning in Manchester after an alleged incident outside of a Massachusetts hookah bar, according to police. Aisha Herrera, 25, of Manchester, was arrested on June 19, 2017, on a fugitive from justice charge as well as assault with a dangerous weapon to wit firearm, a felony, discharging a firearm without 500 feet of a building, and disorderly person. Also arrested was Moise Rodriguez, 25, of Manchester, on fugitive from justice charge as well unlawful possession of a firearm, a felony, and disorderly person.

Police in Methuen were called to a local hookah bar during the early morning hours this morning about a possibly drive-by shooting involving a 2010 Nissan Altima with New Hampshire plates, according to Lt. Brian O’Keefe of the Manchester Police Department. Police in Massachusetts tipped off Manchester Police about the incident after learning that the vehicle was registered to a Queen City woman – Herrera.

"(Officers) located the suspect vehicle on Quincy Street at approximately 4 a.m. this morning,” O’Keefe alleged. “The unoccupied vehicle was parked near Conant Street. The officers observed three subjects enter the vehicle a short time later. They conducted a felony motor vehicle stop at the intersection of Douglas Street and Dyson Street.”

After the stop of the vehicle, police allegedly found a Hi-Point .38 caliber handgun on a rear seat passenger who was not charged as a result of the incident and, later released from the scene. Herrera and Rodriguez, however, were arrested on numerous charges.

They were held and are due in Manchester District Court this morning.
