Police Investigating Burglary at Tessi's Pizza

Salem Police are investigating a burglary incident at Tessi’s Pizza at 15 Ermer Road in the North Salem Village Plaza.

Lt. Joel Dolan of the Salem Police Department stated on Jan. 20, that the incident was still under investigation and there wasn’t any information beyond confirmation of a burglary.

According to a customer, the restaurant was hit last week and the thief or thieves stole a cash register and computer. Officers were seen at the restaurant on the morning of Jan. 15.

“Every time I order food there, the owner and everyone else are very friendly, caring people,” a customer told Patch in an email. “I feel bad that they were (burglarized).”
