(MANCHESTER)- Cornerstone’s Executive Director, Ashley Pratte, has accepted the lead public relation’s position at the Young America’s Foundation in the Greater Washington, DC area.  She formally announced her resignation yesterday in a conversation with the Chairman of the Board.  Pratte will continue to represent Cornerstone at upcoming hearings on Medicaid expansion and will work closely with the Cornerstone board in finding her replacement and ensuring a smooth transition.

In a statement Pratte said, “I am extremely grateful for my time at Cornerstone and to the many wonderful legislators, board members, and people I had to chance of getting to know and work with along the way.  I am proud of Cornerstone’s legislative accomplishments this past year and look forward to helping a new Executive Director transition into the role.  It has been a lifelong dream to move to the Washington, DC area and I am excited for this great new opportunity at YAF.”

The Chairman of Cornerstone’s board, Charlie McKinney, said: “It has been a great pleasure working with Ashley this past year.  The Cornerstone board and I couldn’t be more grateful for Ashley’s hard work, dedication, and the tremendous accomplishments she made on behalf of New Hampshire families despite the political climate.  We couldn’t be happier for Ashley and the opportunity she has to advance her career and the conservative movement.”

Ron Robinson, President of Young America’s Foundation said, “We are excited to have such a talented and enterprising young leader join our team.”
