Raymond Man Indicted On Attempted Murder, Strangulation Charges: Superior Court Roundup

Windham man indicted on strangulation, kidnapping charges; man accused of knife threat; man faces 5 theft charges from Salem, Seabrook.

BRENTWOOD, NH — The following people were recently indicted in Rockingham County Superior Court.

Mark Steven Klier, 64, of Briar Road in Raymond on attempted murder and four second-degree assault charges, all felonies, as well as two domestic violence-simple assault charges. He was accused of strangling a woman on Nov. 16, 2022, in Raymond as well as punching her in the face.

Noah Lee Robert Levine, 23, of Brookside Drive in Exeter on a felony possession of a fentanyl charge on June 22, 2022, in Newmarket.

Jesse Alan Locascio, 30, of Main Street in Hampstead on a felony domestic violence charge. He was accused of threatening an intimate partner on Oct. 30, 2022, in Raymond by banging a bathroom door and repeatedly screaming, “Get the f--- out,” while also holding a knife.

Jason A. Malpiedi, 51, of Lowell Road in Windham on criminal restraint-extended term, second-degree assault-domestic violence-extended term, and kidnapping-domestic violence charges, all felonies, as well as a false imprisonment charge. He was accused of strangling another person on Dec. 3 and holding them against their will in Windham between Dec. 3 and Dec. 7, 2022.

Gianni Luis Moreno, 20, of Anderson Drive in Methuen, Massachusetts, on a felony burglary charge. He was accused of burglarizing the 7-Eleven on Cluff Crossing Road in Salem on July 30, 2021.

Brian S. Mourgenos, 53, of Plaza Terrace in Somersworth on attempted theft by deception and four theft by deception charges, all felonies. He was accused of attempting and returning stolen merchandise for gift cards at Lowe’s in Salem and Seabrook on June 4, June 11, June 13, Sept. 7, 2022. Twice before, according to the indictment, Mourgenos has been convicted on theft charges.

Kevin Patrick Mullaney, 35, a homeless man now located in Derry on attempted theft by unauthorized taking and two possession of fentanyl charges, all felonies. He was accused of possessing the drug in Derry on July 25, and Sept. 18, 2022. The attempted theft charge reportedly occurred at Walmart in Derry and involved merchandise that was not paid on July 25.

Jose M. Ortiz, 44, of Brook Road in Salem on a felony falsifying physical evidence charge. He was accused of opening a window, damaging blinds, pulling out drawers of a dresser, and removing suitcases in Salem on Oct. 31, 2022, to impede an investigation.
