CLARK UNIVERSITY
Sandra J. Kiplagat of Salem, NH, has been named to second honors on the Clark University Dean's List. This selection marks outstanding academic achievement during the Spring 2012 semester.
To be eligible for second honors, students must have a grade point average between 3.5 and 3.79, of a maximum of 4.3.

THE COLLEGE OF ST. ROSE
Julia Killey of Salem, NH, was among 1,791 students who received undergraduate and graduate degrees and certificates of advanced study from The College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY.

Killey received a Bachelor of Science as a member of the Class of 2012.
Kenneth Mendonca of Salem, Rockingham County, was among 794 students named to the Dean's List for the spring 2012 semester at The College of Saint Rose in Albany, N.Y.
Full-time students who complete a minimum of 12 credit hours and achieve a semester grade-point average of at least 3.5 with no grades of D, F, Incomplete or Pass/Fail are eligible for inclusion on the Dean's List.
DREXEL UNIVERSITY
Salem resident Aaron Burzak graduated from Drexel University's Antionette Westphal College of Media Arts & Design with a Bachelor of Science. More than 5,000 students received degrees from Drexel this year at the University's 125th Commencement.

MICHIGAN TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY
Michigan Technological University honored the achievements of more than 1,000 graduates Saturday, April 28, at Spring Commencement, including the following students from the local area.
Salem: Nicholas Nemethy with a Bachelor of Science In Electrical Engineering.
Salem: Tori Nemethy with a Bachelor of Arts In Scientific and Technical Communication.
ROCHESTER INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY
The following local residents graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology in the spring 2012 quarter:
• Anna Allen of Salem, N.H., earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biotechnology from RIT's College of Science.
• Joseph St. Pierre of Salem, N.H., earned a Bachelor of Science degree in applied statistics from RIT's College of Science.
ST. JOSEPH'S COLLEGE
Whitney White, a resident of Salem, N.H., has enrolled at Saint Joseph's College of Maine beginning in the fall semester. White, a student from Central Catholic High School, will major in Nursing.
UNIVERSITY OF MASSACHUSETTS-LOWELL
The University of Massachusetts Lowell recently announced the names of students who achieved academic distinction for the Spring 2012 semester.
For their achievement in the classroom, these students were named to the Dean’s List. To qualify, students must have completed at least 12 graded credits for the semester, have at least a 3.25 grade point average with no grade lower than C and may not have any incompletes. WORCESTER POLYTECHNIC INSTITUTE
The following local residents were among 1,286 students from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) named to the university's Dean's List for academic excellence for the spring 2012 semester.
Richard Brown of Salem, N.H., is a senior majoring in computer science.
Carl Haroian of Salem, N.H., is a junior majoring in civil engineering.
The criteria for the WPI Dean's List differs from most other universities as WPI does not compute a grade point average (GPA). Instead, WPI defines the Dean's List by the amount of work completed at the A level in courses and projects.
