Retirees to Be Honored by School Board

We've got a list of those coming to the end of their Salem education careers.

The Salem School Board will be honoring this year's retirees from SAU 57 at tonight's regular meeting at 7 in the Media Center.

Retirees include SAU 57 Assistant Superintendent Edith Soley, who is retiring for a second time and has spent a total of 40 years with the district, and Fisk School Principal Susan "Micki" Rhodes, who departs after 34 years.

The School Board will also hear an update on the Salem High School freshman program and discuss biotechnology and Information Technology space at the high school.
