
UPDATE, 1:30 p.m.: A 65-year-old woman from Derry suffered serious injuries in a rollover accident on Interstate 93 on Monday morning.
New Hampshire State Police and the Derry Fire Department responded to a report of a single-vehicle rollover on I-93 north in Derry around 10:28 a.m. Monday.
State police said the driver, Nancy McAvoy, lost control of her 2003 Honda Civic, possibly due to speed and traffic building in front of her. Her vehicle went into a skid and left the roadway, striking several trees and rolling over.

McAvoy suffered serious injuries but was wearing a seatbelt and was not ejected from the vehicle. She was taken to Parkland Medical Center in Derry and later transported by medical helicopter to Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston, MA. Her vehicle was destroyed.
Traffic was restricted to one lane of travel for approximately two hours while the vehicle was removed.
