Roth Campaign Announces Seacoast Steering Committee

Democrat running for the District 3 Executive Council seat says she is honored to have "well-respected community leaders" supporting her.

SALEM, NH — Some of the Seacoast region’s most influential Democrats have joined together to form the Beth Roth for Executive Council Seacoast Steering Committee. Elected leaders, both current and former, including city councilors, state representatives and senators, nonprofit and business leaders and long-time Democratic Party activists are among those who will advise the campaign as it moves toward the state primary election Sept. 13, 2016, and into the general election, according to a press statement.

"Beth Roth’s professional background as an attorney, mental health counselor, nurse and teacher is almost tailor-made to prepare her for the role of Executive Councilor,” said NH State Senator Martha Fuller Clark, a member of the campaign’s Seacoast Steering Committee. “She was also the first woman to Chair Salem’s Board of Selectmen, served on the Planning Board and Historic Commission, and led countless community initiatives through hard work and persistence. This is someone who does not take commitment lightly, and is hands-down the most qualified, experienced and hardworking candidate for Executive Council District 3."

“I’m pleased and honored to have the support and guidance from some of the most well-respected community leaders of the Seacoast,” said Beth Roth. “This Committee knows the importance of experienced leadership, and with their help, I believe I can win the Democratic primary and general election, and serve the people well.”
