Route 111 in Salem Closed Due to Multi-Vehicle Crash
Breaking: Police warn drivers to find alternative routes.
SALEM, NH — Salem Police are warning of a serious accident, with injuries, at Route 11 and Ermer Road, according to an alert on Twitter. At least two vehicles were involved in the crash and medflight is assisting and removing patients.
The crash was first reported at around 4:45 p.m. on Nov. 1, 2016, according to a post on Twitter. At least two of the vehicles crashed head-on, according to WHDH-TV. Rockingham Alerts reported on Facebook that at least one of the patient's injuries were traumatic, hence the need for the medflight. Derry and Windham EMTs are also assisting.
