Run For Town Office In Salem

Salem's town election will be held on March 13. Town Meeting – First Deliberative Session – will be held on Feb. 10.

SALEM, NH — The filing period for town offices begins on Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018, and runs through Friday, Feb. 2, according to Town Clerk Susan Wall. Anyone interested in running for office will need to file at the Town Clerk’s Office, 33 Geremonty Drive, between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. In order to run for one of the offices, candidates must be a registered voter in Salem.

The town election will be held on March 13, 2018. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

For Selectman – THREE Years – Vote for TWO: Incumbents: James Keller, Everett McBride Jr.

For Town Moderator – TWO Years – Vote for ONE: Incumbent: Christopher Goodnow.

For Budget Committee – THREE Years – Vote for THREE: Incumbents: Robert F. Bryant, Dane Hoover Jr., Paul G. Huard.

For Library Trustee – THREE Years – Vote for ONE: Incumbent: Cindy Jury

For Trustee of the Trust Funds – THREE Years – Vote for ONE: Incumbent: Carol Houle

For Planning Board – THREE Years – Vote for TWO: Incumbents: Keith Belair, Paul Pelletier

For Zoning Board of Adjustment – THREE Years – Vote for TWO: Incumbents: John J. Manning, Michael Smith

For Supervisor of the Checklist – SIX Years- Vote for ONE: Incumbent: Melissa Sorcinelli

Town Meeting – First Deliberative Session – will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018 at Salem High School.
