Man Allegedly Beat Woman After I-93 Crash: Police Need Witnesses

Police need to know if you saw this crash or the ensuing altercation.

METHUEN, MA — Police are asking for witnesses who may have seen a man's alleged beating of a fellow driver following a Tuesday night crash on I-93.

According to police, a male driving a silver Honda Civic and a female driving a gray Toyota Scion crashed around 8:23 p.m. on the ramp from Route 110 to I-93 North in Methuen. The drivers pulled into the breakdown lane, about half a mile north of Exit 46.

The male allegedly assaulted the female before hopping back in his Honda and leaving. The victim was transported to the hospital.

The Honda was located and seized for processing. No charges have been filed.
