
A busy three-day Columbus Day weekend resulted in a number of exciting games and wins for teams in the New Hampshire Saints Youth Hockey program.
On Saturday, the Bantam 2 team fought hard but came up short in an 8-3 loss to Wellesley at the Haverhill Valley Forum. Jared Natola tallied two goals while Vincent Annicchiarico added another in the loss. The team rebounded on Monday with a big 4-3 win over Billerica at the Haverhill Valley Forum. Nick Sorcinelli scored two goals, including the game-winner with just over 5 minutes remaining, while Jared Taranto and Micheal Vincente added a goal apiece.
On Saturday, the Bantam 1 team posted a strong 7-1 victory over Somerville in Tewksbury at Breakaway Rinks. The team followed this strong performance with a 5-1 win against Medford at the Haverhill Valley Forum.
The Squirt team continues to improve, posting an impressive performance while coming up just short against North Andover early Sunday morning in Lawrence. The PeeWee team played hard yet again in a loss to Agawam on Saturday.
