Salem's town and school elections will take place March 13, with the second deliberative session of Town Meeting set for March 17.

IMPORTANT DATES
TUESDAY, MARCH 13: Voting locations: Town Hall, 33 Geremonty Dr.; North Salem Elementary School, 140 Zion Hill Road; Barron Elementary School, 55 Butler St.; Soule Elementary School, 173 South Policy St.; Fisk Elementary School, 14 Main St.; Lancaster Elementary School, 54 Millville St. NOTE: This will be the final Salem election where Town Hall, Barron and Soule will be utilized as polling places.

SATURDAY, MARCH 17: The second deliberative session of Salem Town Meeting at the Salem High School auditorium, 9 a.m.
CANDIDATES FOR OFFICE
BOARD OF SELECTMEN: Three years, vote for TWO. Candidates: Ronald J. Belanger, James Keller, Everett P. McBride, Jr., P. Anthony McKeon, Carl Swiderski.
SCHOOL BOARD: Three years, vote for TWO. Candidates: Pamela Berry (I), Michael Carney, Jr.
BUDGET COMMITTEE: Three years, vote for THREE*. Candidates: Richard Baillargeon, Robert "Bob" F. Bryant, Dane Hoover, Paul G. Huard (I), Paul Welch. One year, vote for ONE. Candidates: Russell Frydryck (three-year seat incumbent).
LIBRARY TRUSTEE: Three years, vote for ONE. Candidates: Annette M. Cooke.
TRUSTEE OF THE TRUST FUND: Three years, vote for ONE. Candidates: Michael Foster.
PLANNING BOARD: Three years, vote for TWO. Candidates: Edward DeClercq (I), Phyllis O'Grady (I), John J. Manning, Paul Pelletier (current alternate).
ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT: Three years, vote for TWO. Candidates: Gary Azarian (I), Steven Diantgikis (I). Two years, vote for ONE. Candidates: Bernard W. Campbell.
TOWN MODERATOR: Two years, vote for ONE. Candidates: Christopher Goodnow (I).
