Salem Business Raises $2,510 for ALS

CoreMedical Group/CoreInformation Technology gets wet with an ice bucket challenge.

A local staffing agency of medical professions recently raised thousands of dollars with its own ice bucket challenge.

The CoreMedical Group/CoreInformation Technology in Salem raised $2,510 for the ALS Association on Aug. 14.

More than 80 employees participated, with Core donating $10 for each person in the challenge. Core employees also donated $850 to the cause with Core matching donations at $850.

The company specializes in the placing nurses, allied health professionals, physicians (Locum Tenens), and technology professionals in travel/contract or permanent positions across the United States. CoreMedical Group was recently named one of the Largest Healthcare Staffing Firms in the U.S. and one of the largest Travel Nursing Staffing Firms by Staffing Industry Analysts.
