Salem Chamber to Host Perry in Derry

Texas Gov. Rick Perry, a candidate for the 2012 GOP presidential nomination, will appear in Derry next week at an event sponsored by the Greater Salem Chamber of Commerce Government Affairs Committee as he attempts to bolster his New Hampshire campaign.

Perry will hold a town hall meeting with voters at the Brookstone Event Center in Derry on Tuesday, Nov. 29 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. It's free to the public and space is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Brookstone is located at 14 Route 111 in Derry.

Perry is attempting to re-gain ground in New Hampshire has this is one of several stops in the state for him next week.

A recent Suffolk University poll released this week showed Perry at 2 percent in the first-in-the-nation primary state, which put him at seventh overall in the running.
