Salem Elementary Schools Getting Out the Vote
Salem Education Association helps students learn about the local electoral process.

In collaboration with the Salem Education Association, Salem schools did their part to “get out the vote” for the local elections on March 10, according to a press statement.
Salem High School held a voter registration drive earlier this year and elementary schools held school-wide voting initiatives to teach students about the importance of participating in the voting process.
At the Barron School, students at every grade level voted on what special theme day they would like their grade level to win. A letter was sent home to parents explaining about the contest and each family received a color-coded “ballot” to place in the special “Barron Bobcat Ballot Box” when they went to the polls.
