The Salem High school football team lost it's season opener to Manchester Memorial 20-7.
Giving up a game opening kick off run back for a touchdown, the Blue Devils started off in a hole that they fought hard to get out of. On the next series Salem fought back to Memorial's 10 yard line bust turned over the ball with a fumble.
Salem put in a good effort in what must have been a disapointing lose.
