Salem High School Seniors of the Month

Senior of the Month for September: Jacob Dufton

Jacob is currently the President of Best Buddies at Salem High School. He is also captain of the varsity football team and baseball team. Jacob plans to attend Plymouth State University in the fall to play baseball as well as pursue a Master’s Degree in Special Education.

Senior of the Month for October: Shaina Gilks

Shaina is currently President of the Actors’ Guild and Band Council Historian for the marching band at Salem High School. She teaches music on Sundays at Hebrew School and works as an intern at the Boys and Girls club where she compiles, edits, and formats their monthly newsletter. Shaina plans to attend school in Boston and major in Journalism. She would like to pursue a career as a political journalist specializing in print and web journalism.
