Salem to Lose Hundreds of JPMorgan Chase Jobs
Company plans to move as many as 600 jobs to other states, possibly Ireland, by 2018: Report.
SALEM, NH — JPMorgan Chase’s Chase Commerce Solutions office in Salem will be moving hundreds of jobs to other states beginning sometime in 2018, according to a report in the New Hampshire Union Leader. The report stated that the company made the announcement on Wednesday and the jobs would likely be moved to Arizona, Delaware, Florida, and Texas. Some of the jobs may even be moved to Ireland.
The loss of jobs is expected to be around 600, making it one of the community’s largest employers. Local officials and the chamber of commerce are bracing for a significant impact on the community.
