“As officers spoke with witnesses they learned the male had damaged a motor vehicle parked in a nearby driveway,” according to Lt. Joel Dolan of the Salem Police Deparment. “He also damaged the window of a trailer by pushing in an air conditioning unit. Prior to officers arrival the male had ripped a flagpole out of the ground and was swinging it around.”
Other witnesses alleged that Perry took a shovel and smashed the window on another trailer. After a brief struggle, he was arrested and held on $5,000 cash bail. Perry was scheduled to be arraigned this morning.
